Bahrain, 25th November 2014: Sport In Life, leading importer and distributor of premium sports brands and equipment across the Middle East, is proud to announce its collaboration with Challenge Bahrain, the newest race in the global Challenge Triathlon series. Along with being the official nutrition partner of the inaugural event taking place on Saturday, 6 December 2014, Sport In Life will also be supplying local retailers with premium sports products at the event expo.
Challenge Bahrain is the first internationally branded half distance triathlon to take place in the Middle East and offers the world’s largest prize purse of $500,000 over the 70.3 distance.Attracting elite athletes from across the globe, the 113km race consists of three legs, beginning with a 1.9km swim, followed by a 90km bike and concluding with a 21.1km run.
Dedicated to supporting regional sporting events, Sport In Life is providing triathletes with nutrition from top international brands GU Energy Labs, Aqualyte and MuleBar. The latter supplying both 100% natural energy bars and sponsoring the swim caps.
Sport In Life is supporting local retailer Endura Sports Center to showcase premium sports brands like Nathan Running Essentials, 2XU and Newton Running to the Challenge Bahrain event expo taking place on 4, 5 and 6thDecember, from 9am to 6am daily.
Athletes will also have a chance to meet Newton Running sponsored pro triathlete Rachel Joyce during a special autograph signing session on Friday, 5th December at the expo venue.
